About Us
Buds ‘n Blossoms Nursery and Landscaping is owned by Mr. Bobby and Rhoda Boone. They are both Wiregrass natives and married in 1974 after both graduating from Troy State University. Now they have two children; John David Boone and wife Mindy Boone, who are the owners of Dothan Nursery, and Elizabeth Boone Carver and husband J.G. Carver.
Bobby is a member of the Dothan Rotary Club and he and his family are active members of the First United Church of Headland.
They began the nursery business in 1975 with Buds ‘n Blossoms Nursery. They have also been rewarded for their hard work including a Dothan Eagles "Best of the Wiregrass” award and by many loyal and loving customers throughout the area.
Bobby and Rhoda are plant enthusiasts whose positive attitude trickles down to every employee they work with. We are happy to announce new team members Matt and Suzanne Carden who have been keeping your needs met this past year while the Boones spend time with family. Suzanne is the sales manager and Matt is head of Landscaping. Your gardening needs are important to them and we will strive to offer you the best customer service possible.
